Lizz Freeman Kelly (she/her)

Executive Director

Lizz Freeman Kelly is a New Orleans resident, artist, and nonprofit expert whose experience and interests
made her a natural choice for the Executive Director position. She has 15 years of retail
management experience in secondhand consignment clothing stores in different states, as well
as 10 years of financial management experience at the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and
Assistance Foundation.
Freeman is also a textile artist whose work includes quilting, applique,
natural dye, cyanotype, and embroidery using only salvaged and secondhand fabric, modes of
construction that echo the sustainability ethos underlying ricRACK’s mission.

Jahireen Hebert (they/them)

Outreach Education Coordinator

Jahireen's approach to sewing is more like sculpture, less like structure. They call it "free styling".
A New Orleans native, Jahireen is self taught, hoards sewing books, is known to go straight to YouTube tutorials when they hit a sewing roadblock. Jahireen is a student of construction by comparison. They study both high end and popularly priced garments to learn construction details.
Jahireen is enticed by burlesque fashion, inspired by old Hollywood glamour, and is known for heavily embellished statement ware.

Resale Store Manager

Christina was born and raised in Northern Nevada and for the past decade she has worked as a stylist. She is infatuated with costumes, set display and dressing up. She finds her own success in her love for retail by helping others feel powerful in their clothes. She has always had a passion for putting her own spin on everyday looks and bring them to the next level. Have you ever seen someone and said “I love what you’re wearing, but I could never pull it off?” Well that’s her specialty, she has clever tips and tricks to help you re-purpose while still being able to pull off any look. In 2019 she was given the opportunity to move to New Orleans a city that has been near and dear to her heart. She is excited to join the ricRACK family and bring her experiences and up beat energy to the store front.

Baylee Robertson (she/they/he)

Baylee Robertson (she/they/he)

Sewing Studio Manager

Baylee is a theater artist based in New Orleans where they design costumes for professional and children’s theater. Baylee offers a unique perspective to the sewing world as a gender-fluid lesbian who is passionate about storytelling and studio arts. Baylee began sewing at 6 years old, but their real talents lay dormant until they joined theater in high-school. Aside from costume design, Baylee possesses sewing skills in areas ranging from historical recreation to bridal gowns. Baylee is a creative at heart, who loves exploring other worlds beyond sewing like printmaking and photography.
