Antoinette de Alteriis
Antoinette de Alteriis was bitten by the sewing bug at an early age and absorbed every lesson her skilled mom and grandmas imparted. She began designing in elementary school and has been a costume creator for decades. She perfected her mending skills in the hands of the costume department at Colonial Williamsburg and has taken and taught classes on quilting, mending, design, and construction throughout the South. de Alteriis has taught transformative design at the Costume College in Hollywood, California and is the Gulf Coast chapter President for the International Costumers Guild. She is also the Co-Captain and costume Director for the Krewe de Jeanne d'Arc in New ORleans.
