Feather Art & Cockades on Cocktail Hats There are many ways to use feathers and ribbon on hats.Come learn some of the ways you can cut, curl and combine a variety of feathers (ostrich, goose, coq, etc) to make easy but dramatic feather pieces.One of the most dramatic will be a Dior feather ‘brooch’, which is all the rage! Additionally, learn some origami ribbon folding techniques for extra drama.These pieces can then be attached to simple small hat bases available in class.No special tools or experience needed. Two day class; attendees can bring their own feathers (ostrich, biots, goose, coq, etc. NO FOUND FEATHERS!) but feathers will be available in class for purchase; wired or non-wired ribbon at least 1" wide and several yards in length; sinamay base available in class for $10 or bring your own.
