Mixed Media Collage Master Class

Service Description

Bring an existing garment and join us for a fashion mixed Media master class. Wednesday June 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 and Thursday June 4th from 6:00 to 9:00. Focus will be on a variety of applique and hand-sewing techniques. The first day we will focus primarily on design and composition. On the second day we will work on putting things together. Only basic sewing experience is needed. Participants can bring a denim jacket or a button-down shirt they want to adorn or they can purchase one from ricRack. Nikola Janevski is a multifaceted artist specializing in collage, textile printmaking, and fashion design. Originally from North Macedonia and currently based in Boston, MA, Nikola explores the intersections of art and design through a variety of mediums and conceptual frameworks. The large-scale collage series Memento Mori has garnered critical acclaim, featured in prestigious exhibitions such as the National Collage Juried Exhibit and the Northville Art Gallery
