SLOW FASHION:
SUMMER SEWING CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS

 

ricRACK is happy to announce that funding has come through, thanks to our friends at Home Bank, the Ella West Foundation, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation.  

We are pleased to offer full-tuition scholarships for:

• Teens in our June Beginner Sewing Camp, and July Intermediate camp.  

• Kids, 8-12yo, in our Kids one week camp, July 6-10.

 

Do you love fashion? Want to learn your way around a sewing machine? Do you hate seeing waste and want to use up all your scraps of fabric!!??​​​​

Then you don't want to miss out on these incredible opportunities!​​

The ricRACK Slo-Fashion sewing camps will run from 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday at ricRACK's French Quarter location, 321 Burgundy.  Campers on scholarship must be able to attend all days of the camp.

All supplies and materials are provided, camper is responsible for their lunch!

This course and all materials will be entirely free of charge to participants, thanks to grant and donor funds.

Applications are due no later than Friday May 22, 2026, and approvals will be emailed out to campers by May 31, 2026.
