Turnaround time for sewing machine repair is about 2 - 5 weeks. Our repair technician is in once a week for a few hours.

Price change for all machines dropped off effective June 1, 2023 (if the machine was brought in before that date the old price will be honored).

In an effort to keep our repairs as accessible as possible, but to not lose money on the process, ricRACK will be increasing the cost of sewing machine repairs.

 

There  is a $50 charge to estimate a repair. This gives our specialist the time to check the parts, test the machine, and evaluate the problem.  The amount will be credited toward the repair bill, or the customer can donate the machine to ricRACK and no balance will be owed.

 

The price to  clean/oil/adjust tensions/simple adjustments is $150 (so after paying the $50 deposit, a $100 balance will be owed upon pick up, unless a call was made explaining further charges, etc.)

 

Any parts that need to be ordered, repairs beyond a simple COI, etc. will be approved by the client before completing.

The Sewing Machine Repair Technician or a ricRACK rep will call the client.

Warranty:  All repairs include a 30 day warranty on the work performed, unless otherwise noted on the repair card.

 The warranty does not cover adjustments or issues that were not listed on the service card. 

A reasonable charge may be added for new issues.

 

Pick up:  All machines are to be picked up within 30 days after the customer has been notified of  the  repair completion.

After 30 days the machine will be sold for the amount of the repair bill, or at ricRACK’s discretion.
